#1 Mixer/Blender Combo

I have this mixer/blender combo. My family loves homemade bread. We can not fathom giving it up just because we live in an RV. We purchased the Wondermill mixer and blender. It’s not too tall to sit on my counter, like some other stand mixers. It also fits in our cabinet nicely. The kids love the blender for fresh smoothies year-round! If you are looking for a similar item, check out Bosch. They have this mixer (you can purchase several attachments, including the blender) that has rave reviews!

#2 All in One Cooker

Overall, we are a large family. The RV oven is so tiny. The range gets so hot that it burns my hand. Honestly, I do not like the RV range or stove. I can use it in a pinch, but for the most part, I rely on our Ninja Foodi 12-in-1. The Foodi can be a pressure cooker, slow cooker, dehydrator, air fryer, and more! It fits in my cabinet and on our counter. As a bonus, it does not heat our living area like other cookers I have used.

#3 Immersion Blender Set

A few months ago, I purchased this immersion blender. It came with a stick blender, whisk, chopper, and milk frother (great for delicious coffee drinks!). Surely, this is a compact tool many can use in their kitchen. It fits in small drawers and is so easy to use. My kids enjoy helping in the kitchen. They use the chopping feature to cut up vegetables for meals. I love that it is easy to wash (the parts are dishwasher-safe). We use this several times a week. Regardless, it has held up very well!

#4 Drink Markers

Undoubtedly, I never thought purchasing drink markers would be a necessity. Then, we had children. These drink markers may seem silly, but one of my pet peeves is having twenty cups all over the place at one time. There are six of us in my family. Use these bands to prevent clutter around the RV and to limit how many glasses are in the cabinet. Each person gets a color. They are in charge of keeping track of their cup (we use these jars for storage, measuring cups, and drinking), washing them, and putting them away at the end of the day.

#5 Containers

Next, let’s discuss organization. To keep clutter to a minimum, I have learned to keep our small space organized. This means I have an odd fascination with containers. I can save space and organize household goods with the use of containers! While I love the versatility of glass storage containers have been a hit! The transparency allows me to check our inventory quickly. Subsequently, we do not have to dig through the cabinets searching for ingredients. Also, check out these for fridge organization!

Small Kitchens Work

All things considered, small kitchens can be mighty. One of the things that concerned me when we downsized our kitchen was how to make homemade food for my family. With less equipment, I actually find cooking to be more relaxing. There is less to clean, less to put away, and less to clutter the area. The tools stocked in small kitchens make a huge impact! These 5 items you need in your tiny kitchen can be an asset for your cooking goals.
